From the night of July 6 to July 9, Hai Phong city will experience sunny days and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon due to the influence of the southeastern edge of a low-pressure area to the west, forecast the city Hydrometeorological Station.
Temperatures these days will range from 27°C to 34°C.
From July 10 to 13, influenced by a trough extending across Northern Vietnam from low altitudes up to 5,000 meters, the weather in Hai Phong will become cloudier with showers and thunderstorms.
During this period, the weather is expected to be fairly cool, with temperatures ranging between 26°C and 31°C.
In the following days, the weather will be rainless and sunny, with southeastern winds at level 2 or 3. The highest temperature is expected to reach 32°C.
Authorities have warned that thunderstorms may be accompanied by lightning and strong gusts, which can pose threats to human safety, uproot trees, damage houses and infrastructure, and disrupt transportation as well as agricultural, forestry, and fishery activities.
