Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority pledges to accompany infrastructure developers in industrial, economic zones
The Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority pledged to accompany and provide maximum support to businesses and investors at a recent meeting with infrastructure developers in industrial and economic zones in the locality.

Le Trung Kien, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, chaired a meeting with infrastructure developers in industrial and economic zones across the newly-formed Hai Phong city on July 8 afternoon.
At the meeting, representatives of the enterprises expressed their appreciation to the city authorities in general and the Economic Zone Authority in particular for their consistent support and timely resolution of proposals and concerns from investors and businesses, creating favorable conditions for production and business activities.

In response, Head of the Economic Zone Authority Le Trung Kien affirmed that following the recent merger with Hai Duong province, there is significant potential and ample room for the development of industrial and economic zones across the new Hai Phong city. This also requires infrastructure developers to swiftly take action and work toward unifying mechanisms and approaches between the eastern and western parts of the city.
Kien emphasized that 2025 is a pivotal year, marking the transition to a new stage of development. Thus, he called on infrastructure developers to encourage and facilitate enterprises in stepping up their operations and investment attraction efforts.

The head of the Economic Zone Authority also informed the participants that within the framework of the third meeting of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC III), to be held in Hai Phong from July 15 - 18, the city will host an investment promotion conference themed "A strategic destination in the new era."
The event aims not only to showcase Hai Phong’s strengths and potential but also to sign and present strategic cooperation agreements. Therefore, Kien urged infrastructure enterprises to inform businesses in their respective zones and encourage them to actively take part in these activities. He also recommended enterprises to register capital increases so such decisions can be formally announced at the event in a dignified and well-recognized manner.

Kien further suggested that infrastructure developers compile and submit any proposals, recommendations, or challenges that need to be addressed, so that the Economic Zone Authority can consolidate and report them to the city leaders in upcoming sessions.
The Economic Zone Authority remains committed to facilitating and fully supporting businesses and investors, with the guiding principle “The success of businesses is also the success of Hai Phong city,” Kien affirmed.
