Hai Phong Power Company works urgently to restore storm-affected grid
Hai Phong Power Company has mobilized all available personnel to inspect, isolate, and address faults with the goal of restoring power to 100% of affected customers as soon as possible.

Due to the impact of Storm Wipha, 43 power lines and branches in Hai Phong city experienced outages between noon on July 21 and 8 am on July 22, according to Hai Phong Power Company. Of these, 35 have been restored, while work is ongoing to fix the remaining eight lines.
The storm also caused power outages for 208,581 customers during this period. As of now, around 36,876 customers are still without electricity, mainly in areas managed by Vinh Bao, Tien Lang, Thuy Nguyen, and Tu Ky power management teams. In Vinh Bao district, priority loads still without power include the People’s Committees of Nguyen Binh Khiem and Vinh Hoa communes.
Hai Phong Power Company has mobilized all available personnel from local branches to inspect, isolate, and address faults with the goal of restoring power to 100% of affected customers as soon as possible.
Earlier, the company took various measures to proactively respond to Storm Wipha, with the top priority being safe supply of electricity to 114 wards, communes, and special zones of the city.
The company has four backup generators with capacities over 30 kW and 31 generators ranging from 5 to 7 kW on standby, ready to provide electricity to priority loads upon request.
