The fireworks display in Hai Duong province will take place at the same time with the one in Hai Phong city to celebrate the merger of the two localities.
The People’s Committee of Hai Phong city issued a document on June 28 proposing coordination with Hai Duong province to hold fireworks shows to celebrate the merger of the two localities.
According to the plan, a fireworks display will take place at the Xu Dong Cultural Center in Hai Duong province.
Specifically, 500 high-altitude shells and 120 low-altitude firework racks will be set off over a 12-minute period, scheduled between 9:15 pm and 10:15 pm on the night of June 30.
The Hai Phong city People’s Committee requested the Hai Duong provincial People’s Committee to direct relevant departments, agencies, units, and localities to coordinate with the city Military Command in developing and implementing the fireworks plan at the designated site, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
The Hai Phong city Military Command will take the lead in coordinating the planning of the fireworks display as part of a cultural and artistic gala marking the merger of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city.
At the same time, a similar fireworks display will take place behind the Opera House of Hai Phong city, with the same scale and format as the one in Hai Duong.
