Hai Phong city is experiencing a heatwave due to the expansion of a hot depression from the west.
Hai Phong city has experienced hot weather since July 14, with the highest temperature reaching 35.5°C and relatively low humidity between 62% and 79%.
Due to the southeast expansion of a western hot depression, the heatwave will continue on July 15 and 16, forecast the city Hydrometeorological Station.
Temperature may peak at 37°C, and humidity may drop to 50 – 55%, forecasters say.
The heatwave is predicted to persist in the city until July 18, with peak temperatures remaining between 35°C and 37°C and even higher in some areas.
