The new route is expected to offer travelers from Hai Phong and surrounding localities in Vietnam greater opportunities to explore Thailand’s vibrant capital city of Bangkok.
Thai AirAsia inaugurated its direct flight route connecting Vietnam’s Hai Phong city and Thailand’s Bangkok at Cat Bi International Airport on July 16.
The new route is expected to offer travelers from Hai Phong and surrounding localities greater opportunities to explore Thailand’s vibrant capital city.
The service operates four times a week, with flights on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Promotional one-way fares start from 1,590,000 VND and are available until October 24, 2025. Tickets can be booked through AirAsia MOVE app or the website: airasia.com.
CEO of Thai AirAsia Santisuk Klongchaiya noted that Hai Phong is the largest port city in northern Vietnam and the country’s third-largest city, making it a highly promising market. Thai AirAsia is currently the only airline offering direct flights between Bangkok and Hai Phong. With the launch of this new route, the airline now connects Bangkok to six vibrant cities and provinces across Vietnam.
Thai AirAsia hopes the route will be warmly received by travelers.
